I installed a 160/80 rear that raised the rear about 2" or so from where it sat with worn out 150 Metzeler.

I did the flip last week. I did the grind and flip a couple months ago and changed it back to stock because the tire was worn out and the scoot was real low with the spring preload soft.

I will keep it this way unless I have trouble scraping.

I know I have to slow down on the turns and up aprons.

My belt squeaked until I tightened it. Watch it, because it doesn't take much to bring it up to spec. If you're too tight, you could wear out the drive pulley bearing and seal.
