I saw some guy displaying parts cleaned this way at a local car show, very clean and smooth finish. Definately worth a look, not as agressive as abrasive grit blasting

G'day greyphart... the surface finish left with soda blasting is really smooth compared to conventional grit blasting which leaves pitting and like to video claims there's very little heat generated so no warping of panels.

The parts I saw cleaned at the car show included steel, aluminium, fibreglass and plastic... absolutely no noticable degradation to the base material at all.

Thanks for jogging my memory on this BigBoyinMS. I'm going to try your scaled down version out on a couple of bits.
