Nice... I've got a 79 XS650 sitting in the basement with a fresh hardtail on it. Haven't had much time to work on it lately, but they're great project bikes.

Here is the front fender mod. I started with Veg-tanned leather from Tandy Leather. Than bang the hell out of it with a pear shaped tool.Drill a boat load of holes in it. Wet stretch the leather to the round curve of the fender. Let dry, then glue to the fender. Lace that sucker up. Dye it to a Canyon tan color. Bolt it on...  |
