Drying Off A Bike 6 Years, 3 Months ago
After seeing these over price blow dryers for bikes in different catalogs and idea hit me. Those things are just small leaf blowers.

I plugged up my blower after washing my bike off and gave it a good going over with the leaf blower (rated at 210mph) (at least on the label). It worked great leaving me with minimal water residue on the bike. It cut my drying time down to mere minutes and left me with some great results.

Just wanted to pass this little tip along.

Thanks.

Best to use a new one as a used one has been known to throw 'bits' at the bike.

Docs right,....as usual
I always use my air compressor, it has an air filter and water catch on it, so there is no chance of damaging the paint. Roto

Hey TMK, I like your pic of your bike, and the background.
If you don't mind me asking,.....where was that taken?

Hmmmm, that's a good idea. I have a neighbour across the street whose attention I'd like to draw.

Great idea on the leaf blower. I use a little compressor. My bike is like your's TMK, except Black Cherry. I was too cheap to shell out the 100 bucks for the saddle bag holders, so I made my own for about 25.00 out of steel. Learned the hard way, do not use aluminum.
