This is a real simple mod that gives great results. The key is to take your time and measure , measure , measure before you cut. I first tried to decied the angle that I wanted to end up with by blocking the bike so I wasn't balancing it and then shimmed up and down on the front of the seat with the latch removed. Yes this is time consuming but this isn't something we do all the time. Then I took the seat and mounted it to a bar stool in the shop, removed the cover and took scrap sheet to cover it and made several trace patterns of what I thought I wanted the seat profile to be in relation to yup my butt inprint. Onece you decied get out the electric knife(wifes still pissed, why I do the turkey any way). Now take your time and carve away...work your way down in layers as you design may change as you go... I have had mine for two years now and I love it. I also did the spring mod found in the tech section. sorry so long.
