I like having my speedo fast. Cops in one town I pass thru everyday are major @$$ holes, so even if I think I'm doing 70, then I'm only going 5 over so they leave me alone but I still think I'm making time

RJ- my girl does that in her car only 10 minutes fast, everytime I get in her car it gets me for a second and I think I'm gonna be REALLY late for whatever I'm going to

I check my speedo against those roadside signs that tell you how fast you're going. Every time my speedo reads 6 mph over what the sign says.

I put a Speedo-Healer on both of my R*s after I switched to 31 tooth pulleys.

I set them according to the directions on their website for an 11% correction, and darned if I don't go past local radar speed reading signs, and they're dead on!

I know how you feel. Hers is set at 18 minutes fast. Why 18? When its an oddball time like 5:27 I have no idea what time it really is on the fly. And doing math that requires carrying the 1 is not my idea of fun while driving.

If we did an average based on the post on the topic this afternoon, we'd end up running 80 at 80. Your 6 over cinches the deal

My 02 Roadie, completely stock, runs 5 mph slow. When I was riding with my brother who uses his GPS for speed monitoring he would keep creeping up on my back tire while we were on the highway. At a gas stop he said, QUIT RIDING SO SLOW!!!!!!!!!!! I told him listen, I was riding the speed limit, and he said NO YOU ARE NOT, YOU ARE 5 MPH TOO SLOW. I then started riding at 65 when the speed limit was 60 and he stayed behind me and lo and behold at the next gas stop he said, now you are riding at the speed limit. Since then I now ride five miles per hour over the posted limit and have never had a problem and now keep up with traffic and not get passed so much.
