New member question we got via email:

don't mean to be a dummy ( kinda new at this), but were do you go to fill out the profile and what i have for a bike

There are a couple of ways to get your profile, and you also have a 'Forum Settings' area too.

Your Site profile can be accessed most easily from our front page after you have logged in. On the left side about halfway down there is a 'User Menu'. One of the selections under there is 'Profile'. Click on that and you will be taken directly to your profile. Once there if you pass your mouse cursor over the 'edit' gray label at the top you will see an option to edit your profile, or to upload a pic of your bike.

There is also an area we call Forum settings that controls the stuff displayed on the left of your posts. When you are in the forum, just below our site banner, you will see an option (white text on blue background) for 'My Forum Settings'. Click on that to set your forum preferences. Under the heading 'Profile for <your name>' you will see several things you can set that are specific to the forum.

FYI for some new folks, profile pics are limited to pictures of your bike. There can be other stuff in the pic but the main theme must be your bike. I've rejected many requests lately for profile pics that have no bikes in them, sorry I haven't personally messaged you with a reason for the deletion but I've been busy. Signature pics have a bit more leeway in their content.
