Hey. I meant to post an intro before jumping into threads. Hello from Monmouth County, New Jersey. Seems to be a ton of great info here and plenty of helpful members.
I've got good news, bad news and good news.
The good news is that I upgraded from a 2002 V-Star 1100 classic to a 2007 Roadstar Midnight Silverado in June.
The bad news is I crashed it yesterday. Rearended an SUV on Rt78. Fortuantely I was able to get the bike down to about 5mph before contact.
The good news is I'm still alive and most of the "damage" to the bike is cosmetic.
Hoping this is my one and only crash story to tell....

Greetings MitchellNJ. Glad your crash was minor. cosmetic can be always be fixed. Took an extended trip last month and had to travel on Rt78 for a while. A hard highway to travel on bike.
