Welcome to the clinic!
I hsd the same problem before I moved my fuel pump under my right side cover, but not since for some reason.
Anyway, I got in the habit of turning off my fuel petcock just before I got to my home or wherever it was going to be shut off and parked. (around 20 - 30 seconds) Never a problem after that. I suspect it's due to pressure built up from the pump in the fuel line to the carb and it slowly pushes through the carb inlet valve after you turn it off.

Thanks RK - Does this happen only in hot weather - if so I don't really have to worry about it here in B.C. - is the removal of the fuel pump the best way to solve the Problem? Is it a hint that the relay is burning out? Thanks for the info.

It is a nice place to live and ride - luckly we got here before it went nuts - since we are staying the only thing it does for us is higher property taxs - which sucks.
