Need advice 3 Years, 9 Months ago

Greetings from Louisiana, I have an 02 roadie, problem, with stock bars. I have to lean forward when riding. My back seems to reak havak on long rides. I want to change to a bar that will allow me to ride without bending forward. I would like to make a change without changing cables, unless I absoutely have to. Anyway, with 38 in. wide 17 in. pullback beachbars, would my cables work, and, if anyone has installed this same set up, how comfortable are they. If anyone has any advice on these bars, or others that would straighten me up without changing cables, let me know.
