If you get in the habit of doing it without looking, then when you're crankin' down the road and you have to switch to reserve, you don't have to look down and hunt for it. I have to say that the only times I'v turned off the petcock was when I was pulling the tank to do some work... Or, when I was going to store it inside for more than a couple of days... {br]Or, when I was in an area where I wasn't sure about the neighborhood... (Mostly because a lot of the neighbors were hoods! ) Take a look, using the search tool for "puking"... there's been a lot of discussion about it here...   Logged     Over 50...?
