Thanks for all the welcomes everybody. I've been seeing a whole bunch of nice looking RoadStars here on this forum. They sure are a great looking bike. I haven't ridden one yet (afraid I'll like it so much I'll want one NOW). I'm going to have to wait a little while before I can get one.

There's a lot going on here on this forum and lots of helpful members-I like it already.

That group is the Southern Cruisers Riding Club. I joined about 6 wks ago and have ridden with them on Sundays 4 times. Its a really friendly bunch. They are pretty safety oriented and lots of fun. They do a lot of events for St Judes. Most of them are in Memphis now for the Nationsl Rally. All the chapters go to the hospital and bring all the proceeds and donate to St Judes. You ought to show up at Frank's in Prairieville one Sunday between 8 and 9. You can join online-no dues no required meetings. Just show up for the rides if that's what you want. No strings.

I'm really looking for a new bike but I kinda wnat to see how the fuel injection works out. I wouldn't mind a used one as they seem to hold up really well. I like the fact that the older ones have only 1 carburetor instead of 2.

Did you do last sunday's ride to natchez? I wanted to go but but work followed me home and I didnt get to leave until after the group had left...I took hwy 61 north into natchez later that morning with my wife, and never saw any of the group...ironically enough, they are going back there this wknd, and they are hitting up the lunch spots we went to last week

If you went, how was the italian place?

Didn't make it. We had a grandaughter's birthday party at 2:00 and there was no way to get back in time. Wife is working this weekend and I made a trip to Natchez 2 months ago. Didn't eat there. We went over to Centerville and ate at Vine's. It was really good. Wife and I are probably going there Wednesday for lunch if the weather is good.
