WOW...I knew that there were a lot of us, but I am a litte surprised to find out how many. For those who voiced your appriciation, I am very grateful and I really do believe that my generation of servicemembers take for granted all the support that we get. I am really saddened for the way that the public had responded to the troops in previous years. It is I who am grateful for your service so that I have the opportunity to return the favor.

Katana - let me know if you are ever in need of a job. I am always looking for ex-nucs, especially ones with an RCSS and ELT qual.

Hats off to all of those who have served and are serving our country!!!!

    Hey Smooth,

    Will do...thanks.

I see you are in Portsmouth? Newport News I take it? I even did a stint in new-construction at Newport News so I'd fit right in! Lived in Hampton...even spent some time on Sub-tender in Norfolk (R5 LPO).

Drop me an e-mail at kds1182@entermail.net...I'd like to hear from you.

I retired from the US Navy after 21 years in 1998. I only wish I would have been in after 9/11 to go kick some Taliban butt! I think for the 25 million dollar reward for Osama Binladin, we could all get together, go over there and hunt him down.

    Road Trip!!!
