Good morning everyone. My name is David McConville and I live in Houston, Texas. I was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. I plan to become a US citizen in December, 2008 - just in time to help vote Hillary out of her second term! Through my job I've had the chance to live in exciting places such as Vancouver, BC and Boston, Mass. Been married once for 22 years, I have 5 kids (all with the same wife), ages 18-16-14-13-10. I started negotiating with my wife in 1985.....and just got a new candy red 2006 R* in November '06. I've added Cobra LoBoys, windshield, Cobra fatty highway bars, Mustang studded seat with drivers backrest (best advice I got from this forum), saddlebags, and 4 inch handle bar risers. I'll be looking to add a BAK in the spring. Cheers!

And Dino, I echo Musky's sentiment. I got $5 says you can't resist changing SOMETHING the first year...especially if you're going to be hanging around in here with all us tinker-happy nuts. But that's one of the beauties of the Road Star--SO many after market accessories available!

Hello All,
My name is Andy. (StarMyram) I live an hour NW of Calgary, Alberta. We are in a great riding area with lots of paved backroads with hills and curves. (Now we just need to fix the &quot;winter&quot; problem as it tends to interfere with riding a good part of the year.)
My wife Meghan and I have two kids. Jessica 3yrs. and Shaun 2yrs. Shaun loves motorcycles! (he's not picky about brands yet! )
I am a gas utility operator, working close to home.
I ride a 2005 Silverado -bought new in May 2006, all stock: AIS removed, and stage 3 on the exhaust. I love this bike. I hope to reach at least 250,000km on the RS. A good friend of mine has reached 250,000km on 2 of his bikes so far, and I'm sure a RS will go that far too.
I really enjoy the RoadStar Clinic.

Welcome to the Clinic to all the new folks. You'll find a wealth of knowledge here from the boards as well as the Tech Tips section. If you ever see me give advice, think about it real hard since I'm pretty much a mechanical moron. Seriously, the guys here can help ya through ANYTHING you may run across.

Welcome to the Clinic Dave- it's a good bunch of folks who are extremely knowledgeable about RStars! I too am getting back into riding after almost three decades. Crap, that sounds really old, doesn't it? Oh well.

I have a 2006 RStar Midnight and have put on V&amp;H pipes, ported manifold and Hypercharger. Am toying with the drag bike appearance - new, flat bar, bob the fenders, etc. but am not certain...seems like I've chagned my mind every couple months and I've only had the bike since July. Photo forthcoming.

Enjoy the site.
