New guy on forum with a new roadstar 4 Years, 1 Month ago
Hi all, just registered for the forum. I have been reading around on here for several months and have really learned alot. I have been riding a 1100 vstar for a while and just purchased a new r* silverado week before last. I had been wanting one for a while and finally bit the bullet and bought one. I really love it. Loved the vstar but the new roadstar is so much more bike!!! I have a good friend who has a 2000 roadstar with about 70,000 miles on it. He has never had any trouble out of it and I only hope my new bike is as good!!! Thanks guys for all of the good info on the site.

Congrats and welcome!

A v*1100 is what got me into this whole mess.
Walked into a dlrship to make a deal on a lowered 1100.
A month later there's two silverados in my driveway.

Gotta love em!

I put a new exhaust system on this weekend and will be glad to answer any questions anyone has. The bike is an 08 and the pipes are Shogun Interceptors. They did not have the o2 sensor bungs installed so I had to modify them. Also disabled the ais system. Man this bike sounds great now!!!!!!!!

I walked into a dealership just to look, and left with a new Vstar!!! Never regretted it. Just wish I had gotten a Roadstar to begin with!!!
