Hey I live on Lake Norman about 20 minutes north of Charlotte....Look up scenic highway 11 about 15-20 miles north of Spartanburg . You will be close to some beautiful riding spots,with waterfalls and tree lined mountain roads in NC and Georgia. Spartanburg is hotter than Hell and with high humidity but in about 35 minutes of riding you can usually find cooler weather. Hope you have time to ride
