Spartanburg (aka Sparkle City) is in SC about an hour or so WSW of Charlotte, NC, and about 20 mins from Greenville. Very close to the NC mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

I'm in Charlotte.

Hey
I live on Lake Norman about 20 minutes north of Charlotte....Look up scenic highway 11 about 15-20 miles north of Spartanburg . You will be close to some beautiful riding spots, with waterfalls and tree lined mountain roads in NC and Georgia.
Spartanburg is hotter than Hell and with high humidity but in about 35 minutes of riding you can usually find cooler weather.
Hope you have time to ride

I live in York SC about 45 min from Spartanburg. Cherokee Foothills scenic highway (hwy 11) is a good ride. I'll be coming through there on July 11 with a group of guys from work. We are riding to Caesars Head state park.
