 Bought a 2004 Road Star 1700. It's my first real cruiser. Owned some rice rockets before and fooled around on some 250's when I first started riding. Dad had a mid 70's Kawasaki 750, the old Widow Maker but would never let me drive it. That was back when I was a teenager and when I really learned to ride it wasn't working anymore.
Anyway, Looking to make up for the lost summer as just put the bike on the road.
You may see alot of questions from me right off the bat as it's a new bike to me, and prob some major tune up needed. Kind of going in blind with the aftermarket exhaust and god knows what has been done to it over the years.

If I could count how many times someone has told me that. Which really made me want to drive it.
But yes, prob a good choice. So light, powerful and center of gravity is so high up, I can only imagine what the outcomes could lead to.

Welcome RB. How many miles on your new bike? You may not need anything more than a tank or two of seafoam in your gas to get everything running like a top. These things don't need the tune-ups like those '70's bikes did.
Dad was smart to keep you off the Kaw. They were fast but oh so unforgiving. I had two friends crash on those bikes.
