Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I am a member of a couple other forums and have never been welcomed like this before! It looks like I will be spending some time here!
I will try to get some pictures of the 2003 that I picked up the other night as soon as I can. I am going to make a "bar hopper" out of it. It already has 16" Apes and Vance & Hines LongShots but the guy cheaped out and put some weird sleeves over the AIS ports so I ordered a set of the aluminum plugs. He also didn't jet the carb right (just changed the main) so I got a jet kit coming for it. What made the deal sweet is he just added all Yamaha Factory Silverado - Windshield, Saddlebags, Sissy Bar w/rack, Highway Bar, and Passing Lights so I am going to put all that stuff on the midnight star (I think). The midnight star and strat are actually for sale so if the midnight sells I will keep all those parts for the 2003. Decisions Decisions! I would like to customize one and finally hang on to it. This just might be the one! |
