You won't regret it ZoomZoom. I've had nine bikes over the years and this is by far the best I've ever owned. I intend to keep it a long time, especially since I'm getting mighty close to being in the "new 50s".

ZZ,

This is the time to start looking. When winter sets in and the holidays on the way, many people are more willing to cut a deal. Don't be afraid to low ball someone, you never know when they will bite on an offer. I agree with the newest/lowest miles advice.

Remember one thing though. Buying your bike is the lowest cost of the whole investment. Between the pipes, bling, seats, ect, and the vacation trips on your new scoot, you will be spending alot more cash. But it is the best money you could spend, IMHO.

ZZ, take your time and shop around. The Roadie is by far the best bang for the buck. I bought this '02 loaded with more goodies and chrome than I can list for 5 grand with only 10 thousand miles as you see it, and runs like a raped ape! Not only that, but you have the best support group right here!

Don't forget to check out Craigs List. . .lots of scammers but. . . I got a 2001 with a custom paint job with on 7K for 5300
First thing I did was change the oil! Then removed the AIS. . . Then new tires. . . but it runs great and I'm getting into it more and more each day. MidWest weather just won't let me 'winterize' her yet!! Remember. . .you're in the saddle! You're the buyer. . . .and there's plenty out there. Get the most bang for YOUR buck! You won't regret it!

I actually bought mine on the local Craigslist, and sold several other bikes on it as well. I have had very good dealings on Craigslist, got a good deal on the Roadie and got top dollar for my other bikes as well.
