I been on a motorcycle since I can remember,,first one was honda 305..whole family had bikes. Own two hds and this yamaha is the first import in 25 years..well did have XS 650 for a few months..this road star has been a year long project..I would realy like to thank all of you for some real solid advice and tips. As I told Curt we are in process of fixing some oiling issues and factory spec problems..that will quiet down top end noise..trying to make simple mods that your readers can do at home..will keep you posted

Hey Steve,
This site is great. I road a dirt bike when I was a teenager. Got married, had kids, and couldn't afford a bike. My Wife also didn't want me to get hurt on one. Now I'm 51 and I could afford one. Bought this one in July. Loving the hell out of it. The Wife rides with me too. These guys have been real helpful with sharing their experience.

That's what it's all about. I've learned a bunch here.

Got a ton of life insurance recently. Wife says I can ride as much as I want...

I had a 305 turned it into a flat tracker I was only12 It almost killed me but gave the pro flat tracker in the area a run or a scare

COULDN'T PULL THE WOOL OVER MY EYES,OR TALK TO MUCH BULL ABOUT IT.
