Greetings all,

Just purchased an '03 R* last week and found this site just the other day. Looks great.

I'm in the U.S. Air Force currently stationed @ Vandenberg AFB, CA. (perfect area to ride a bike year-round) Been in for 17 years and lovin' it!

I purchased my first bike back in '96 (Virago 1100). Moved to Washington D.C. and decided take a few years off....sold the bike. Bought another Virago 1100 in 2000 while assigned in Norch Carolina. Sold the bike a couple of years later just before leaving for California. I finally decided to get another bike and got a killer deal on the '03 R*. I love this bike!

Besides owning the R*, I have a couple of Mustangs. Daily driver is a '90 LX 5.0, and the baby that sits in the garage next to the bike is an '01 Bullitt.

Married (16 years) with 2 daughters (10 & 5). My wife loves to ride as well as both of my daughters. Looks like they'll be competing for a ride.

Once again, looks like a great site. I've got a lot to learn about the Road Star and I look forward to chatting with everyone.

Cheers,
Steve

Andrew here in California. Here's a pic of my 2000 Roadstar. Got some mods on it, Baron's 108CI kit, cams, adj. pushrods, 45mm carb, oversize 3mm valves, ported manifold, heavier valve springs, lifters, 32 tooth pulley, dyna 3000, and lots of extra chrome.
