This bike is black and white. Has saddlebags, windshield, and front driving lights among other things. The tires are new. FWIW, the auctioneer tried to get a starting bid at $5k. I threw up 3 fingers and no one bid against me. I got it for $3k. The bike is a one owner bike as I have the title and the owner bought it new in 06. The bike has 25k miles on it and has been taken care of. Right now it is dirty from setting outside at the auction house. It also is 8 degrees outside so I don't plan on a good clean up until it gets above freezing.

Sounds like a steal. Good find.

I am not sure what I have though. It is a Road Star 1700 but I don't know how to tell if it's a Midnight Star, Silverado, or what it is. The vin starts with JYAPV17E45AXXXXXX It's a 2005 model, has spoked wheels instead of cast, and does not have anything that might say Midnight Star or Silverado. I searched the web and could not find any info that helped. Hopefully you folks here can help me.

From what I came up with it looks like the base RoadStar model with the two tone paint - Raven & Pearl White. PO must have added the windshield and passing lamps. MSRP was $11,099 for (Solid Color) & $11,299 (Two-tone Color) Both Available from June 2004. Looks like you got yourself a good deal.

Fe Fanatic from Texas. You stole that bike at 3K I have an 05 (the one in my sig picture) and an 07. I have the 07 sold but am keeping the 05. You will love that bike just make sure you check the front drive pulley nut from time to time as they tend to back off.

, from Texas....now, you absolutely stole that R*.
She looks like a Road Star Silverado, not a Midnight.
But, either way, she's sweet, enjoy.
