Sold my 05 V-Star 1100,and now have an 08 Road* W/6K Miles, took a bit to get used to the gearing of the Roady... but love it on the Interstate.

Came with Cobra speedster longs & a Cobra (AR fuel processor, have removed AIS, added a Clearview recurve shield, BAK, ED seats (love um), and Buck's Lowers, waiting on a Oil Cooler to arrive, will post photo as soon as I wipe dust off bike.......I live about 2 miles off of asphalt on a gravel or dusty roady however you want to look at it!

Have already gleaned some very useful info from this site.

Glad you joined us! Big upgrade from the Vstar. What oil cooler are you getting? Most don't run a cooler it's really not needed.

...While smhowse is correct, I could see where living in the heat of NV it wouldn't hurt. I used to live in Truckee and work in Caron and know now hot it can get. What part of NV are you in?

Jagg Deluxe, always had this thing about Oil temp, currently running Mobile 1 20/50, with cooler thought I'd drop down to 10/40....It gets HOT up here and it's dry!
