I had issues when I got started(I still retain most, their just not photo related  ).
Some of the things I'll do different next time, is to not have the camera setting to the "Best" quality pics. "Good" should be fine I'm think'n. That should reduce the MB's. I resized mine, before I sent them to Photobucket, using the resizer that is the first Google link. Then, when I had them on PB, I cropped any extra stuff out. All the extar grass, flowers, eat up MB's, and force you to reduce the size of your image.
If you keep messing with it, you'll get a bigger pic figured out

That was the same problem I was having. It does help to use a camera with a lower megapixel count too.
