Hi new to the forum and thought I would let folks know a bit about me. I am happily married 5 children 13 to 25 and 6 grand children. I live in Hohenwald Tn. Pure country. My first license was a bike license. Rode from the time I was 15 till I was 25. Got into an accident broke a foot and hung it up. I have been on bikes since but not my own and not for more than a ride around the block. I have dabbled in racing over the years everything from r/c boats to cars. For the last 13 years I have raced mowers. 11 national Championships and still love it. These are not your average mowers either. Anyhow Last year I decided to sell my Super Modified twin. No bites but in November I had a guy that wanted it but wanted to do some trading. First he offered me a 75 vette. That didnt really appeal to me so much never much liked them especially the mid 70's as this was a 75. so then he offered me a Hiyabusa. garranteed me it would run 225. problem with that I would attempt it at some time or another. So I turned him down. Then he offered me a 2002 Road Star Midnight Edition. Black and Blacked out (no studs) with extras goodies in a box plus it was loaded. aftermarket exhaust toins of Kuryakan chrome accesories, saddle bags and luggage bag plus all the stock stuff he took off(I put the stock pipes back on). Motor is stock it had 22,000 miles on it and very well took care of. plus it has a hand painted Indian motiff on fenders tanks and side panels and blue leds thru out. SO as you can guess I traded and am loving the bike. Already have right at 5000 miles on it. I ride daily when I know its not gonna rain. Work is 40 miles of winding up and down hill twisty cut back two lane bike loving hour one way riding. drug the floor boards a time or two even. Anyhow Love the bike love the site and have already used several tech tips. Thanks for the site and all the help already.
