I backed the pump off about half way this morning and rode into work. could notice the difference as soon as I sat on the bike and she settled just a bit. Not riding across a washboard anymore but nice to know the extra pre-load is available if my wife were ever to blow up! lol

So you're the one driving prices up!

Actually I have mine already. Paid more than $80 though. I was very happy to get a brand new take off.

Amazing how many of these shocks are out there. Like I mentioned earlier, I have been running one on my 02 Shadow ( the purple flamed bike) for about 6 years now. I have another in a bin I will be retrofitting to a CB750 Cafe bike but I will have to lighten up the spring on that one most likely.

On the Shadow (Vicious Cycle) I just used a dual pole dual throw switch. On the Roadie I have used two relays that will go to a single pole dual throw switch. I bought 5 switches off of Ebay from Hong Kong for $4.53. The harness with relays is made and installed, just waiting on the switches to arrive. I can just tap the wires onto the frame to adjust the shock for now (ground throw to the relays).

Here's my wiring scheme. I guess if you all wanted harnesses for this I can make them up as well. Totally loomed and taped with two relays in a double socket, just lay it in the bike and connect the fused ring lug to the +12 on the battery, and the Frame Ground to a bolt under the seat (or batt) and install the switch where ever you like. Mine is going in my Batwing fairing.

Say $60? $9 shipping.

Tooke my wife riding last night and went to Jersey Mike's and it still amazes me how easy it is to steer this bike into and out of hard corners now where it used to "fall" into the corners and I have to physically push it out.

Hope this diagram helps you DIY'ers.
