Hi,

I just bought a '99 Roadstar. I've always liked this bike and was seriously looking at new, but decided to "try it out" with this one first.

So I'm looking forward to learning more out here. Can't ride for awhile as I'm from Polson, MT on the south shores of beautiful and big Flathead Lake, with Glacier National Park an hour up the road.

Now I have an '83 Venture Royale for sale, lol.....I don't need two road bikes.....

Congrats on the Roadie There is a tranny recall on your bike. If you don't know for sure that it's been done give a dealer or Yami customer service your VIN and they can look it up. There is also an exhaust bracket recall but that only applies to the stock pipes.

Seasons Greetings!

I bought my '99 in June 07 as an insurance salvage and put it back together in my workshop, to include a complete repaint. About two years ago I started test riding all kinds of cruisers, to include a Fatboy and the Road Star was the ride for me. Great forum, great folks, great bikes.
