well the bike has been stock, other then the cobra pipes, jet kit, and K&N replacement filter. MY grandfather pastaway in 2001, i kept the bike in storage un a bike lift, with fogging oil in the cylinders, oil coated the inside of the tank, and sprayed the bike down with storage coating. in may of 2007 i got the roadie out cleaned it all up, put new tires on it, drained the storage oil out of the engine and gas tank, filled it up and ran it for an hour. smoked like hell. untill the fogging oil burned off. replaced the plugs and been riding it ever since. now i want to make it into something i could love for ever like i loved my grandfather. I know he would enjoy knowing i made the bike into something diffrent other then letting it sit and collect dust for ever. i'll never get rid of it. if 20 year from now and yamaha no longer makes parts to fix it. then i'll put it in side of a glass case. like i said 1999 roadie with under 8500 miles on it and on its second set of tires. I ran amsoil in since it first service, stored it with fresh amsoil 10w40, i now run amsoil v-twin 20w50. before i restared it i pulled the valve covers off and sprayed amsoil on everything so it wouldnt have a true dry start. I no longer ride sport bike. at the age of 27, I have found that calling of the v-twin pushrod engine you know the thing we all have come to love. the thump of the big inch engine pounding out mile after mile, with love.

Yeah, I know it took a while, but here I am . Burlington is between Raleigh and Greensboro and about 150 miles to Ashville. Nice ride up there if you go the back road's.
