I have been in the Fireservice as a Firefighter/EMT for many many years. I didn't go into the service. When I graduated high school it was peacetime and I figured I'd go right to work. Good decision in some aspects but I still always wonder how things would have been different if I would have got in. I'll tell you what though, my hat's off to all these 19 and 20 year olds that go in today knowing full well they are going over the pond. They are what makes America what it is! My name is Don Chavous, I own a '99 Roadstar that I just purchased 6 months ago and a '00 Hayabusa. I've been riding about 30 something years and this is my first v-twin cruiser. I bought it at the urging of my wife and I simply love the bike. I use it as my daily commuter, weather permitting, here in atlanta. I have a wonderful wife, 5 children, Nicole-25, Tiffany-21, Max-15, Evan-10, Andre'-9 and 1 grandson Amir-1 week. As soon as the weather breaks I will post pics. My R* is custom painted candy tangerine and I am still deciding wether I want to keep the spokes or change to something else. I do all my own work.
