How Are you all. I am Tom, a slightly shorter (6'3&quotBear. I am living in Delta British Columbia which is about two hours north of Seattle on the Canadian side of the line. I am designer of elevators for wheelchair bound people and am also the Computer Aided Design manager of the company. I like the work, but it can be stressfull being as I am responsible for a large collection of custom engineering software and our design offices span 5 countries. I like to ride my 99 Silverado every chance I get (whcih has been not too often this winter as we've had more snow than rain this year) But it is a great place to live and ride. I am beginning to make a few changes to the ride and started with new V&H pipes. I bought a Dynapro jet kit, but have yet to pull the carb off to do the work. I am waiting for the K&N high air system I bought before I figure out which main jet will be best to use. I'll probably be looking for some input from some fellows more experienced with pulling these beasties apart.

HoustonCH73 here, just bought a 2002 R* Midnite Silverado. (Is there such an animal??? the guy I bought it from had it listed as that and I've seen midnite editions and silverado editions both listed. Its dark navy blue and definitely a silverado.)

anyways....I love it and I'm already spending money with parts on order.

Midnights come with a chrome front end and as far as I know they're all black. But if you're happy then that's all that counts

Hello All,

My name is David Brashears, Website/Graphic Designer from Kingsport, TN. I have an '02 Yamaha Road Star that I got used last fall. Love it. I have one daughter, 5yrs old, and a wife of 12 years. I'm 34 years old and love to ride. I've only owned one other bike, a 2000 Suzuki Marauder 800 that I bought new.

I'm looking forward to getting involved in the forum and have greatly enjoyed the welcoming reception I've already received. My first project will be a BAK kit. The bike already has a set of aftermarket pipes on it that are opened up I think (if not, they are really short baffles). So, she is begging for more air to get the most out of that opened flow. That stock box just isn't cutting it. She tends to fart instead of growl when you pop the throttle....and that's just embarrasing. She also tends to hesitate when you twist her onto the interstate. Hoping this all get's sorted with the rejet and the BAK. I know I sound like I'm complaining, but I'm not. She's a beauty and she runs like a dream. I just want her to run like a wet dream.
