Hey all,new to site 4 Years, 2 Months ago
I have rerouted my crank vent from BAK because of oil pucking on pipes.Vent tube is terminated under bike close to the other vent.Do I need to put something on end of hose to catch oil or can I leave it open to air?:

Yes. Some people put a filter on the end and some don't. It doesn't seem to matter either way.

You shouldn't be getting that much oil out of it. How old is the BAK? Have you re-oiled it? You might have filter oil and not motor oil on your pipes. Have you done an oil change? How much oil did you put in?

The BAK is about 1 yr old, and yes I reoiled back in summer. It,s probably not that much oil just looks like it on chrome. I think I'll try without filter and see how it goes
