Hello. My name is Kevin Lewis.
I reside in the Winston Salem area of NC and am a member, and Shepherd of STAR chapter 105.
I will be picking up my '06 Roadie in the afternoon tomorrow. Would go in the morning but my wife insists the ultrasound of the new baby is more important (and she's right......  )

Hi Kevin,
Glad to have you on the forum. I use this all the time to get information about products BEFORE I buy them. There are many here who can assist with repair tips - if it ever breaks.
I'm a member of STAR as well - Chapter 249, Cadillac MI - We just got back from the Midwest Star-B-Q... very nice.

Steve here.
Father of 2 boys, 16 and 8, both have dirt bikes. Wife rides a 750 Kawai GPZ.
I'm a shift supervisor in a local factory.
Favorite things, my family, bikes and Jeeps.
Live in a small town in Sothern Ontario, Canada.
Recently the wife and I joined the Norfolk Chapter of the Southern Cruisers.
I've owned a bike since I was 18.
Love my Roadie.

Hello, My name is Kevin Owens. I am new to the Yamaha line of bikes and I recently bought a roadstar 1700. I love it! Anyway you will probably be seeing me around the board asking questions and looking for sugestions for accessories.

Hey All:
I'm Dennis and I'm from just outside Atlanta. I've had my Roadie for one year and one month and I love it. I've put just over 10k miles on it. I'm one of those that had a bike in the 70's when that's all I could afford to drive. I sold that one and went without for 20 years. Got back into it with a Shadow in the mid 90's and traded up to the Road Star last year. I'm a member of the new Star Chapter in Cartersville, Ga. I just got back from a 1500 mile round trip to Pennsylvania to visit family. Next month I'm heading to southeastern North Carolina to see my son and in the fall, I'm planning a trip to New Mexico to ride part of old Route 66. I enjoy reading all the posts here.
