Howdy all! My name is Ron Johnson from Otsego, MI (1/2 way between Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids along US131). I've been happily married to my wife for 17+ years and we have two wonderful daughters, 16 & 13. I'm an active Navy Reserve Boatswain's Mate First Class with the Seabees out of Battle Creek, MI for 19+ years and an I.T. geek in the real world for Kent County.

I picked up my '99 Roadie "Two Eagle" from one of my best friends in March of this year. Started riding it 5 years ago and fell in love. My buddy bought a new Hog in March and provided me the opportunity of a lifetime! There's nothing like a Roadie for comfort and the feeling of pure testosterone with every twist of the throttle!! I've been posting and looking for advice for about a month now and everything you guys have posted has been spot on! I appreciate the honest advice and look forward to tweaking and tuning my Roadie to be the machine I know it's capable of being! Thanks in advance for all the help. I look forward to meeting some of you on the road someday!!

Re:Please introduce yourselves!! - Again 5 Years, 10 Months ago
Hey All,
My name is Alex and I'm the owner of Dragger Custom Seats. I've been fairly regular over at the Road Star Riders Forum for the last several years. I've been snooping around hear for quite some time also, but really haven't said much, so I figured it's about time I said hello!

I live in Rice, MN with my wife of 5 yrs and our new little son Adrian. He's 2 months old and just learning to smile... a lot! I'm a graphic designer by trade and just started my seat business this last year. So far it's been going great! I just hope I'm able to keep up!

When I'm not working at work or at home, you can find me camping or trying to find a way to get back to Banf in the Canadian Rockies. I've only been there once, but it's the only place that I've ever been that makes my soul just come alive!

I look forward to getting to know all ya'll!

Regards

Alex

Welcome to the Clinic Alex.

Looks like the guys from MN are ganging up on the site.

If you get a chance, skip Banff and head up to Jasper some time. To use Musky's words .. it's much more relaxed than Banff. Lot less people, not so 'touristy'.

Nice seat! Good luck in your business.

Hey Doc,
Yes we Minnesotans are known for our millitant take over of motorcycle forums!

As for Banf, we only spent one evening in the town. It was pretty cool. We had supper on the roof of a resturant as the sun was going down behind the mountains! But where I really want to be is away from people IN the mountains. Where the is nothing but rock wind and sky. That's where I need to be!

Thanks for the well wishes!

Alex

The older one (19) wasn't too bad but I can see that the youngun is going to be a handful

She wants her own rocket bike when she turns 16.
