Hello;
First time poster. Ride an 05 RS w/Silverado package and been working it up to the bike I feel comfortable with. Just little things so far, new Kury taillight, add on pegs for front floorboards, new passenger floor boards, on-off switch for the hiway lites, etc.
I live in Miami, Fl but recently bought a little house in TN because I fell in love with the roads and had to get back to riding.
Last month I made the ride from Mia. to Ga - 8 hrs, Ga to TN -7 hrs, and the same back except I took out of the way routes. Put 2K miles on in the 4 days of riding and loved it. Can not wait to do it again.
I love my Roadstar and I guess I got lucky when I picked out my new bike after 20 years off the road. Seems to be a good choice. Always had Yamaha streetbikes when I was younger; 750 Special, and the 1100 special. I am enjoying this one.
Geeting serious about adding a Wide Open Co. fairing, it seems to be a reasonable choice.
Thanks to all posters this site has been a daily contact and information source for me.

I bought a little house just outside of town in Spring City. East of Chattanooga. I love it there; Ideal Valley.
Have'nt been able to get up more than a few days every six months but it has been worth it just to ride around exploring.
