I have been looking at the vance and hines 2 into 1 pro pipe hs and also the samson shogun warlord slasher. like to find a pipe that has a real deep tone and not too loud as the wife might not like that but yet has a little bark when needed.

I had the Propipe and it does have a deep but muted tone ... definately not ear piercing loud.
