I have a question. Were is the seat going to be? From the side angle it looks like you would sit over the rear tire. And if that's true then you must be as tall as Musky to steer it or have handle bars that have a 36" pull back!

Well I for one couldn't help noticing that fine craftsman motorcycle jack, I was looking really hard for something in common with that...

That is one fine looking machine, what was your first part of the inspiration?

Well Danny...
A little solo seat mounted right at the corner of the rear cylinder will do the trick...
Bikes, like women...are built two ways...some are built for comfort, some for speed. LOL

And actually I'm NOT tall. LOL
The whole bike is pretty small...WAY shorter and lower than a stock Roadie. Without the transfercase, the rear wheel can be moved forward quite a bit.
I'm planning about a 4"-5" pull back bar...too early to tell.

Thanks for looking.

As far as inspiration...An early Indian Scout 30.50 C I
Junior racer, I guess...from there...who knows!

Thanks for the compliments.

Warstar -- that looks pretty cool. Hard tail with a COOL and unique front end. Should be a site to see when it is done!

Oh Yeah... Where is RIP ?

It's easy to to get bogged down during these projects,
things moves slow at times...and that thing called WORK, well anyway...

Thanks Fire,GJ, and slezy.

This is like an old timey serial like they used to have at the movies when a ticket cost 10 cents! Can't wait till the next exciting episode to find out what happens.

Don't leave us hanging too long. We're all building this thing with you in spirit. (And this coming from a guy who usually doesn't find custom builds all that exciting) This one is looking good to me so far though.

Warstar - That is certainly one inspired build. So the removal of the transfer case caused no problems at all apparently. Is it 1 to 1 swap from the tranfer case directly to the tranny (same ratio)? That is going to be one unique machine. I too, can't wait to see it finished.
