The heel toe is great, I didn't know if I was going to like it or not at first. The gaiters on the forks are for a CBR500, and yes the cam cover is from a warrior, basicly the same but not for a hole where the speed sensor mounts in, I just capped it off.

It's sure nice to see more folks around who are building things from scratch. Nice work and thanks for sharing some secrets.

It looks like you made some brackets that would mount to the existing floorboard brackets. If that's correct I believe I can do that without any Drawings. Looks great and great Idea for home made forwards.

That would be correct, the inner assembly is built from 3" x 1.5" Channel cut to about 4.5" with a cap on the inner side ,with two holes to mount to your frame and the outer plate was cut to fit the desired size (Just a WAG) and it worked fine, to use a grind peg you'll need to find an old bmx wheel and steal the axel and weld it in place, I drilled a hole and chamfered the hole to get a good weld and dress it flat so not to show from the back side, the end plug is a brass freeze plug, Dorman #1260SC from the head of dodge small block 318/360.

Lets see, you've got a chevy valve cover, Chrysler core plugs, the only thing missing is a ford part.. And the paint on the tank looks like rino guard...very nice.....

Takes me back (way back) like about 40 years, when we took the old police HD's and built bobbers with whatever we could scratch up or modify.

Simply put....cooool bobber with a bunch of ingenuity tossed in!

GJM69,
Where are you located? I'm at Country Club and 8th St, and would love to get a closer look at your bike some time! Me and the wife get out and ride frequently, so running by somewhere wouldn't be a big deal.

Let me know,
