#179111 jetmechanic (User) Let go and let God! Expert Boarder Posts: 511 New toys 2 Years, 10 Months ago   Hey fellas, Got my money from Uncle Sam a few weeks ago and got a few things for the bike. Got the AIS removed,Carolina Leather saddlebags w/easy brackets and I also adjusted the PMS in half a turn and am now at 2 turns. Is this turned in two much and what are the indications of it running lean? I was having declining gas mileage and bad gas smell in the garage after sgut down. I am going to check the float bowl later if the PMS adjustment dosen't have any effect. I updated my pic showing the news bags. I hope it is the right size as I went through shrinkpictures.com and photobucket. Plese let me know if it isn't right. Thanks for giving me the confidence and knowledge to do the AIS removal and adjustments of the carb. Platinum Boarder Posts: 1788 Re:New toys 2 Years, 10 Months ago   I was noticing on TV that you guys were having a blizzard down there so I am assuming its cold, two turns on the pms is probably a good place but remember that as it warms up, your going to need to turn it out a little at a time. The bike will tell you if you have it running to lean or rich. You'll know when it too lean as it won't run well. On the other hand it will run well when too rich. Sounds like you may be jetted rich .... what are the cab settings?
