So you have to use it on the othe rside too. ( To keep the assemetry ) I think you only have to do that from 2003 and below. I have heard from 2004 and above you don't need spacers. The bike I'm working on now doesn't have a belt so I have it close as possible. Kai Just for your information, the lowering kit has been on my bike since 2003. I had pictures on how to lower roadstar bags in 2003 on another forum for Roadstars ( Roadstar Gallery now defunct ). Ask Geno, he finally e-mailed me and for some reason we came up with the same idea, except I had the idea in 2003.
