Great looking bike at a great price!

One suggestion... think about a new set of tires. Even though they look good and new with no wear they can easily be dry rotted with that number of years on them.

something to definitely consider.

The bike looks like it was in a garage it's whole life. Not a mark on it. Any way to tell if they need to be replaced without taking them off?

I think they're ok.

Took advantage of the REALLY NICE weather and took Scootergirl for a ride. Stopped at the local insurance company (very large parking lot) and let Scootergirl drive the RS. She did just fine! She actually liked it better than the V-star 650 that I put her on a month ago. So maybe I can talk her into another??

Actually, yes, but she has only drove the V-Star 650 and my RS 1700. She doesn't have a MC license (YET) and I'm hoping to get her to WANT to get one.

My plan was to let her drive the RS and then let her "Test drive" a 950 or 1100/1300 and she would feel comfortable on them and not afraid of it. She knows she can handle the 1700 so all the rest would be much lighter and easier for her. She's not a small girl, so if she want's a big bike, she knows she can handle it.

I have to get her to take the MC coarse in spring, then I think she'll get an RS, or use mine and I'll get the Goldwing

Just for the LONG trips, otherwise I'll still be tooling around on my RS.

WOW!!!,that was a great deal on a basically new bike, lots of luck with it.

It looks great /like brand new in the pics.

I though i got a good deal on the 06 silverado i just bought with 4,700 mles on it for $6,500 when it booked for $8,600.

But i think you got a considerably better deal then i did, thats for sure.
