Ok I got the integrated tailight today...

Here is what the kit comes with...

Here is the before shot...

Removed the stock lens and bulb...

The new LED plate slides right in and the new cover screws right to the factory holes (I did run a bead of clear silicone around the inside of the new lens before installing it. The factory one had a black rubber gasket that would have been impossible to reuse...

After hooking up the wires which is obviously the hardest part of this install it worked great...

Left Signal...

Right Signal...

Wiring it up was fairly straight forward even though for some reason they sent me instructions for a GSX-R 600. I went on their website and printed the instructions for a Road Star and wired it up with butt connectors with built in heat shrink to protect the connections. I would recommend this to anyone looking to clean up that rear fender. I still need to get my tag bracket in (thats why there are still exposed holes above the tailight).

Yea I like that, is the lighting bright enough in the daylight? BTW who makes it..?I've been running some small bullet lights in the rear eyebrow bolt holes, but this seems much better...

It is made by Clear Alternatives...www.clearalternatives.com.

It is as bright if not brighter than the stock one.

Thanks again..... I love the lower tree cover with the integrated signals, but I'll say this, the cagers probably don't see them very well in the daytime, but I reckon they don't see us very well anyway so it's a moot point...
