Darn, Has she looked at the 950 tourer? Pretty slick ride.

Actually, yes, but she has only drove the V-Star 650 and my RS 1700. She doesn't have a MC license (YET) and I'm hoping to get her to WANT to get one.

My plan was to let her drive the RS and then let her "Test drive" a 950 or 1100/1300 and she would feel comfortable on them and not afraid of it. She knows she can handle the 1700 so all the rest would be much lighter and easier for her. She's not a small girl, so if she want's a big bike, she knows she can handle it.

I have to get her to take the MC coarse in spring, then I think she'll get an RS, or use mine and I'll get the Goldwing

Didn't Yami stop making the 950 for 2010. I wouldn't buy even a used one as parts/accessories for a production model are going to be very limited.

Good to know, I never thought to ask, but I thought I did see the 950 on the 2010 list? 2010 V-star 950

Yamaha dropped the 1100 V-Star but the 950 is a go for 2010.
