I don't have a curent picture of my wife on my Road Star since I just got it. But she loves to ride, and has done many miles on the back of my XS ('80 650 Special, now juiced up to 750cc). We've been together 35 years. Here's a picture of her hamming it up on my oldster.....

OK. Now I have a couple of pictures of the wife on our ride to key West last month.

On the old historic 7-mile bridge...

and this one was right after I turned into the parking area, hit a chuckhole filled with the soft blowing sand that's everywhere, and the front wheel turned. I almost dropped the bike (but held it up long enough to get some help from a couple of old guys), but dropped the wife off the back. She rolled off, dusted herself off, and climbed right back aboard. Tough lady!

Yup. She sure is. Later that day we rode another 6 1/2 hours back up to Boca Raton, and most of it was in heavy freeway traffic, 70-80 mph. It was cool (high 50's, low 60's), windy and I was focused on avoiding any problems on the interstate, the bike was doing what I expected it to do- run perfectly. I missed entirely that my wife was getting totally stressed-out on the back of the bike. She became somewhat hypothermic and when we rolled into the studio apartment where we were staying, she decompensated totally. Broke down in tears and started shaking like a leaf. So much so she couldn't get her boots off. I felt really bad. I helped get her boots off, massaged her feet and got her some liquids and tucked her into bed with a heater on. She was just fine the next day. Just a reminder, guys, that our passengers sometimes need those extra breaks, especially when the weather is less than perfect.

These are some pics of my wife before she danced at a charity food drive last weekend:

I wanted to take her to the show on the Road Star...But she wouldn't do it...something about flying glitter...
