Re:New Apes 1 Year, 9 Months ago
Since so many posting here have apes I curious of something. How are they to steer for slow tight turns, like in a parking lot? I realize that when I'm making turns like this I lean on the bars a lot to control the bike. I'm wondering how I would do that with apes. And I do want to get apes someday.

Nice! I have the exact same set-up and love it.

For Kong Bars (16 inches) you will need +10" over stock. If you already have SS brake cables, you will only need to get a new upper line. You can get cables/lines from pretty much any of the on-line stores. I ordered my cables from Baron's during one of their holiday sales (in stock) and they were on my porch in three days. Barons would not sell me just the upper brake line, so I ordered that from Phatperfomance and it was on my porch in ten days (they told me it could be up to three weeks). You can also order what you need from Clifford (a forum member). He offers forum members a good price. I tried, but got jerked around for more than three months.
