Not sure of the comfort thing yet, It does sit you lower though and to me feels like it fits rather well but only road miles will tell for sure.
Passenger comfort, not sure. The wife sat on the back to see how well she'd like it, again hasn't been road tested. She did however like that the R* has more passenger room than my old 1400 intruder. Had to agree with her, it had enough seat for my 12 year old son and not much more.

Have to agree with you huskerbob, oreo's seem faster. Nice pipes.

Very nice! The rear of that seat looks like it would be a little "friendlier" to the passenger than my saddlemen. Looks great man!

Well got the first ride in on the new seat, fits me like a glove, can honestly say that i'm happy with it. It sits like an inch er' so lower and makes you feel like you're part of the bike. Got my first board scraping tonight... ....with my wife on the back. She on the other hand wasn't impressed with the sudden low corner and grinding noise nor was she too impressed with the seat. I think that a sheep skinned gel pad will fix that up.

I love this bike, woo hoo!

Re:mustang day tripper and stuff part 2 2 Years ago
I have a mustang solo saddle and was running it with a stock Road Star passenger pillion. Let me say...It was not easy to switch from solo to 2 up with that setup. So, I bought a Daytripper. I like it more than the mustang solo.

However...my wife HATES it...

So, I ended up ordering a passenger pillion from mustang (you know... the one that actually FITS the seat).

I hate the look, honestly...But my wife likes the seat sooo much better.

But the strange thing is, now instead of removing the mustang pillion when I want to ride solo...I put on the daytripper...
