Thrillseeker 1 Year, 11 Months ago
Hi guys,
About a year ago i bought my 1600 Wildstar(Roadstar in the states Wildstar here in the Netherlands).
After driving it a couple of months i decided i wanted to change the bike on the way i like it.
Offcourse the programms like occ and biker build off is very well known here, and after seeing one specifik episode off occ i knew what kind of bike i think is absolutely fantastic.
So i decided that if i will change the bike it has to be all the way.
First things offcourse is looking for different parts.
One of the first things i bought were a wheel and a tyre:

my son also loves the wheel
Next step was buying a other front fork, the original was to short.

To make it a real poser bike a airride system was essential:

it's a system made for a suzuki m1800, that did not make a difference.
After buying these things it was time to start thinking how it should be.
Luckely there were some guys that could put my thought on a computer and made computerdrawings for me.
Thanks to these guys.
It started simple

it got nicer everyday:
and after a while:

And then it started to get busy
from now i keep my mouth shut(my fingers still to let the pictures talk

This is were i am at on this moment.
Let's see if somebody know's on whitch occ bike this one is based?

Some tech stuff:
wheelbase is 220cm, rearwheel is a 300 metzeler, front tyre will be the same type as the rear offcourse.
Oiltank is gone, the frame will also be the oiltank.

Sorry for the many pics, but it's a nice story like this, and sorry for my mistakes on typing i'm dutch sow.
offcourse were still working on the bike, once in a while i will update here.

greetings

How SCHWEEEEET is that?!

Most people build the bike around the frame. You built the frame around the bike.

Great work. Keep us posted on the progress.
