Platinum Boarder Posts: 1828 Check out this way to fix whiney passengers 1 Year, 8 Months ago   I had a couple of extra seats laying around and I came up with this idea. Took the wife out for a test ride of over 350 miles and now she says,"When are we going to the tail of the dragon?" She always said it was to far to ride and I was not going to trailer it there. This was the easiest and most rewarding mod to the bike so far. Platinum Boarder Posts: 1828 Re:no 1 Year, 8 Months ago   Yes it's a stock seat X2. The pillion seat is stripped and the driver's seat is fastened with screws, loctite, pop rivets, and ABS glue. I wanted to be sure the seat does not ever come off, unless I hit the EJECTION BUTTON.(There is no ejection button, but as long as the wife don't know it, it keeps her in line!) The thing I like the best about it is that it mounts the same way the pillion seat mounts to the bike. Slip it on and one bolt in the rear. Dennis The wife had full knee replacement surgery in February and she says the ergonomics are much better for her knee. The seat sits about 2" higher than the stock one. I think I may have created a monster. When I'm all beat and tired she says,"Lets go for a ride!" My bike is parked in a shed and I have to move about 450 lbs of stuff to get my bike out.
