Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive, well-preserved body; rather you should skid in sideways, cold pizza in one hand, beer in the other, body thoroughly trashed, totally worn out, screaming, Yeehaw.\\\\\\

What did it take to get it to work on the fender?

If you mount it where the stock taillight is, the curve of the fender is correct, and there are two holes to mount through. I wanted mine lower, so the curve of the fender is opposite of what I needed. I used some black foam to fill in the gap, and used the holes from the stock license plate holder. NO DRILLING REQUIRED,
Lee
