Just an update on the XS650 Build.
Frame painted.
Motor back in. Still fit, even after all the cutting and welding of the hard tail...
Wheels and suspension polished and back on.
Now, time for the wiring...

Thanks, Coot.
Those spacers you sent me did the trick. Everything lined back up perfectly... Much appreciated.

I was wondering why is there so much interest in a XS650 for rebuilding. I decided to check with google and you wouldn't believe some of these finished as bobbers and a few choppers.Your is really looking good, I think it would be great to be able to build something like that to call your own. All the best with it.

Very cool project Rich.
Just wondering what kind of pipes you were going to use. Any ideas yet?

Thanks, guys.

Funny you should ask. Tonight's project was fitting the exhaust, 2/1 intake and foot pegs..
Looks like I'll end up cutting the exhaust off short (right before the foot pegs) due to the rear brake lever. Probably about -12" or so.
